The Thatch in Rahan has officially announced its line-up for this year"s Christmas Cracker Party Nights. It"s a mix of the best in homegrown talent, tribute acts and up and coming acts and are open to office groups, family parties or just those out for a good night"s entertainment. First up on Saturday December 20 is Dessie O"Halloran and friends, with special guest Joyce Redmond. Sunday December 21 it"s Ireland"s Greatest ACDC Tribute Band Thunderstruck. Tuesday December 23 it"s the Joe Dolan Spectacular with Paschal Brennan. Celebrate St Stephen"s Night with Ray and Nicky. On Sunday December 28 it"s Roots Rock Reggae with Natty Wailer (of Bob Marley and the Wailers fame) plus local support. There"s a Trad Session with Paddy Buckley on Monday December 29 and have a laugh on Tuesday December 30 as it"s comedy night with Paul Malone. On Wednesday December 31, head to the New Year"s Eve Ball with music provided by Simon Casey, on in the Rahan Community Centre and start the new year off with a bang when Christy Moore plays The Thatch on January 1 with An Ordinary Man Liam Byrne. Finally, wrap up the festive season with a night of Elvis with Houndog Greg Traynor on Saturday January 3. Finger Food can be supplied for all of the above Christmas Cracker Party Nights.
