Offaly Juvenile Track & Field Championships

The 2009 Offaly Juvenile Track & Field Championships will take place on Sunday, April 26 in the Tullamore Harriers Stadium starting at 1.30pm. The championships are open to all, both athletic club members and to children who are not registered as athletic club members. The entry fee is €3 per athlete and children must be at least 8 years old this year, to compete. The admission fee for spectators is also €3. Programme of Events Boys and Girls U-9 (Born 2001): 60m, 300m, Ball Throw. U-10 (Born 2000): 60m, 300m, Ball Throw. U-11 (Born 1999): 80m, 600m, Ball Throw, Long Jump. U-12 (Born 1998): 80m, 600m, Ball Throw, Long Jump. U-13 (Born 1997): 80m, 600m, Shot Putt, Long Jump. U-14 (Born 1996): 80m, 600m, Shot Putt, Long Jump. Athletes in the above age groups are confined to three events. U-15 (Born 1995) 100m, 800m, Shot Putt, Discus, Javelin, Long Jump. U-17 (Born 94,93) 100m, 800m, Shot Putt, Discus, Javelin, Long Jump. U-19 (Born 92,91) 100m, 800m, Shot Putt, Discus, Javelin, Long Jump. Athletes in the above age groups are confined to four events. Athletes must stay in their own age groups.
