Local woman hits the jackpot with Rehab Radio Bingo

Ballycommon woman Una Taylor hit the jackpot this week when she won the first prize of €19,100 with Rehab Radio Bingo on Midlands 103. Mrs Taylor has been playing the game since it started just over a year ago and has never missed a week. She bought her book in Fox"s Newsagents in Tullamore. She said she was shocked and delighted when she realised she had the jackpot number and had scooped the prize of €19,100. Joanne Eakins Sales Manager, Rehab Group, said: 'Rehab Radio Bingo has been a fantastic success in Laois, Offaly and in Westmeath with tremendous support from Midlands 103 as well as from local shops. It really has caught the imagination of listeners who have given the game great backing. While Una Taylor has scooped the jackpot, the people using Rehab"s services are winners too as all the proceeds go to support Rehab.' Bingo books are available for €4 in shops across Offaly, Laois and Westmeath and a list of outlets can be found at Midlands103.com. Participants have the chance to win the daily prize of €300 which rolls over until it is won, as well as the jackpot prize every Tuesday which currently stands at €9,500 and rolls over by €500 each week until it is won. The winning numbers are called out on air five times a day, Monday to Friday. There is also thousand of euros worth of extra prizes being given away each Friday in the non-winners draw.
