Crinkill's Pauline is a "SuperMum"

Offaly is no doubt home to many great mothers, but it’s also the home of a SuperMum.

Pauline Milne from Crinkill was named P&G Supervalu SuperMum live on Ireland AM last Friday morning, topping nominees from all around the country.

Speaking to the Offaly Independent this week Pauline’s daughter Aimee said she nominated her mother for the award for her dedication and work in the aftermath of an accident in April 2012 that saw Aimee break her back and neck.

Now back to almost full health, all going to plan Aimee will also have another present for her mother in the coming month - her first grandchild.

Aimee nominated her mother for the award last September, and last week Pauline enjoyed a makeover before appearing live on Ireland AM to be announced winner of the competition.
