Met ireann issues snow and ice warning

Met Éireann has issued a nationwide status yellow snow and ice warning.

Met Éireann expects wintry showers to develop this evening, overnight and on Monday with accumulations likely, particularly in the west and north.

The status yellow snow-ice warning is in place until 9pm on Monday.
