Operation Transformation mystery challenge set for Tullamore

Kathryn Thomas and Professor Niall Moyna will be in the Bridge Centre tomorrow, Friday, January 10, for the Operation Transformation Mystery Challenge.

While the OT crew were remaining tight-lipped about what the people of Tullamore could expect, on their Facebook page they urged the people of Offaly to attend the event which will be taking place throughout the day .

“We'll be asking you to take part in some basic physical challenges (nothing too strenuous!) and Professor Niall Moyna will be giving some feedback with very interesting results that may shock and surprise you! So come along in comfortable clothes and you might get to see yourself in an upcoming episode of this year's show!”

This year's season of OT, which is based in Offaly this year, kicked off on Wednesday night with the first weigh-in of the series taking place at Tullamore Harriers grounds. Other local locations that featured on the first episode included Lough Boora and Birr, where a large crowd turned out for the first Ad-Break Challenge of the series.

While it was announced last week that Tullamore native Jeanie Kinahan was forced to step down as one of the leaders in this year's series after undergoing an operation just before Christmas, another Leader Shane Farrell teaches in the Sacred Heart School.

Tomorrow afternoon, OT's fitness expert Karl Henry will be travelling to O'Connell Square in Edenderry for the next instalment of the Ad Break Challenge, which gets underway at 4.30pm.

If you missed Wednesday's episode, it will be re-broadcast on RTE 1 tomorrow afternoon at 1.15pm. It can also be watched on RTE Player.
