Tesco's new plans for Edenderry

Tesco Ireland has outlined plans to develop a new cafe building in the carpark of its store in the Clonmullen Retail Park in Edenderry.

Last week, the supermarket giant lodged a planning application with Offaly County Council for the 232 square metre development.
It said that, if approved, the single-storey cafe building would be used for the sale and preparation of food and beverages on and off the premises.
The plans also include associated signage, external seating areas, a bin store, six bicycle spaces, and a new pedestrian crossing.
Offaly County Council is due to make a decision on the planning application by March 3 next.
