€260k for roof and toilet works in five Offaly schools
Five primary schools in Offaly are to receive a total of €260,000 in funding grants for roof works and improved toilet facilities in 2021.
Education Minister Norma Foley this week announced that €31 million is being awarded nationally for 275 projects to be delivered under the 2021 Summer Works Scheme in primary and post-primary schools.
In Offaly, €261,264 will be distributed for projects in five schools.
Shinrone Mixed NS; St Joseph's NS in Moneygall; Tubber NS; and Scoil Naisiunta Peadar Agus Pol received funding approval for roof improvement works.
Daingean NS, meanwhile, is to receive funding for improvements to its toilet facilities.
