Minister pays tribute to Rhode award-winning school

Minister Pippa Hackett dropped in on the pupils of Scoil Mhuire Naofa in Rhode on Monday to congratulate them on winning the Climate Change Award in the Offaly Community Recognition Awards last Friday.

The inaugural awards, in partnership with the Offaly Independent, acknowledged the efforts made by communities in Offaly during a very difficult year.

The Rhode school won the Climate Change award for their outdoor classroom.
