Pre-Christmas opening hours announced for Offaly booster vaccine clinics

Walk-in Covid-19 booster vaccination clinics for people aged 40 and above are being held in Offaly every day this week, up to and including Christmas Eve.

The HSE this morning announced the opening hours for the coming days at the county's vaccination hub in Mucklagh Community Centre, outside Tullamore.

In addition to the booster vaccine clinics, a clinic for people requiring their first or second dose of a Covid-19 vaccine will be held in Mucklagh this Thursday (December 23) from 8.15am to 12.30pm.

The opening hours of the walk-in, no appointment needed, booster clinics for people aged 40 and above are as follows:

- Monday 20 December, 9.15am to 5pm

- Wednesday 22 December, 8.15am to 7pm

- Thursday 23 December, 2pm to 7pm

The HSE is reminding people that they need to wait three months (at least 90 days) after their initial vaccine course before they can get a booster.
