Missing Tullamore girl found "safe and well"

A 17-year old girl who was missing from her home in Tullamore since Tuesday of last week has been located "safe and well" according to a statement issued by An Garda Síochána.

Estera Pintea was reported missing from her home in Tullamore on Tuesday, December 14, and Gardai and members of her family expressed concerns for her welfare.

Estera was described as 5’ 2” in height, of slim build with long brown hair. At the time she went missing she was wearing a black jacket and black Tommy Hilfiger trainers.

A number of Garda appeals were issued in an effort to try to trace the whereabouts of the young woman, and An Garda Síochána have thanked the media and the public for their assistance with this missing persons case.
