Over 6,000 vaccine jabs given at Offaly centre this month

Figures provided by the HSE today showed that over 6,000 Covid-19 vaccine jabs had been administered at the Offaly vaccination centre in Mucklagh, Tullamore, so far this month.

Demand for vaccinations was strong during the first half the month, but has eased somewhat in the last fornight.

Tuesday, January 4, was the busiest day at the centre this month, as it saw the delivery of some 568 vaccine doses.

The quietest day this month was Monday last, January 24, when just 71 people received a vaccination at the centre.

Today (Thursday), 127 vaccine doses were given.
