Moon rising at Offaly wind farm captured by local resident

A local resident recently captured atmospheric images of the moon rising at a Bord na Móna wind farm development near Edenderry.

David McLachlan was in the right place at the right time to capture these images at Cloncreen Wind Farm.

David, who lives nearby, at Rathvilla, shared two of his moon rising photos with the Offaly Independent.

Earlier this week, Bord na Móna announced that the 21-turbine development at Cloncreen was being connected to the national electricity grid, and that it would be fully operational ahead of the coming winter. See story here.
