Open day planned at Tullamore Garda Station later this month

An Garda Siochana is planning to hold an open day for the general public at Tullamore Garda Station later this month.

The event is scheduled to take place at the station on Patrick Street on Saturday, November 26, between 11am and 2pm.

The Garda Armed Support Unit, the Mounted Unit, Roads Policing section, and Scenes of Crime Unit are due to participate in the event in order to help raise more awareness of the work that they carry out.

There will also be a sensory hour during the open day, from 11am to 12 noon.

A similar event was held in Birr Garda Station last month and proved to be a great success, attracting a large turnout. You can see some photos from the Birr event here.
