Memorable night in Tullamore as Offaly book place in U20 Leinster final

A crowd of over 6,000 assembled at Glenisk O'Connor Park in Tullamore yesterday (Wednesday) evening to see Offaly book a place in the Leinster U-20 hurling championship final.

After previously overcoming Galway, the Faithful men produced another terrific semi final display to see off Dublin on a scoreline of 1-19 to 2-12.

Offaly will now play Wexford in the provincial decider next Wednesday evening (May 17), as they bid to win a first Leinster title at this grade in 23 years.

Offaly manager Leo O’Connor says he’s hopeful that Brecon Kavanagh and Adam Screeney will both be back for next week’s Leinster u20 final against Wexford.
