WATCH: Tolü Makay's memorable teenage audition in Clara ten years ago

Offaly singer Tolü Makay took a trip down memory lane this week when she shared a video of her audition for 'Midlands Got Talent' in Clara ten years ago.

The hugely talented Tullamore artist, now aged 27, performed Adele's Don't You Remember at the event and her remarkable voice wowed the judges.

On social media, Tolü posted a video of the audition and said watching it back reminded her of how far she had come in the last decade.

"Despite the fear, uncertainty, etc, I'm glad I keep challenging myself for more, for better, for greatness. Very proud!" she wrote.

Tolü received major national attention on New Year's Eve in 2021, when her rendition of the Saw Doctors' song N17, with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, went viral.

She has recently been recording in the studio and sang at Electric Picnic with 'Irish Women In Harmony'.
