The local community in Edenderry had a chance to interact with Gardai and other emergency services at an open day held in the town's Garda station last weekend.

The event took place on Saturday from 12 noon to 3pm. It included demonstrations from Gardai and the armed response unit, as well as representatives of the local fire and rescue service, civil defence, and Edenderry community first responders.

CPR demonstrations were carried out on the day, and face painting was provided for the children in attendance.
