Three Offaly pharmacy technicians graduate at Dublin event

Offaly was represented at a graduation ceremony for pharmacy technicians which took place at the RDS in Dublin on Monday last.

Organised by the Irish Pharmacy Union (IPU), the event was the graduation for all Pharmacy Technicians who successfully completed their course in 2020, 2021 and 2022.

The Offaly graduates on the day were: Sinead Mulligan Buckley, who works at Tedders Pharmacy in Edenderry; Maria Dunne who works at Haven Pharmacy Fahey's in Tullamore; and Freda Buckley who works at McManus Pharmacy in Clara.

The local graduates each successfully completed a two-year Pharmacy Services Diploma Level 3 course and were presented with their certificates by Dermot Twomey, President of the IPU, and Derek Reilly, the union's Acting Secretary General.

The IPU congratulated all of the new pharmacy technicians and wished them all the best for a long and successful career.
