Spectacular "Christmas Unwrapped" in Esker Arts

Tullamore Stage School performed a selection of Christmas music in two sold out shows in Esker Arts earlier this week.

The performance, under Musical Director Regina McCarthy provided much variety from TSS Ladies Choir, Youth Choir, Dance Students, String Quartet and soloists, with narrator Dara Cummins taking the audience through the story of Christmas.

The String Quartet: violins, Eva Barry, Huyen Glynn and Ellen Reilly and cello Ellen Godley,

Accompanied on piano by Loreta Mackelaite, violins Eva Barry, Huyen Glynn and Ellen Reilly and cello Ellen Godley, this show had music for all the family.

The audience were treated to favourites such as Chestnuts Roasting, Mistletoe & Wine, Carol of the Bells, O Holy Night, Spaceman Came Travelling and Walking in the Air and many more.

The grand finale: Members of the Tullamore Stage School Choirs treated the sell out audience in the Esker Arts Centre to a spectacular finale of the "Christmas Unwrapped" concerts over two nights earlier this week.

Other numbers included the Pogues 'Fairytale of New York', Mariah Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas' and the 1950's classic 'Santa Baby'.

It was truly a beautiful evening of Christmas cheer!
