Sunday sport: Galway leading Mayo in Connacht final, Brentford beat Man Utd

Mayo are aiming to stop Galway doing a four in a row in the second of today's senior provincial football finals.

They're meeting in the Connacht decider where it's Galway 1-11 Mayo 1-03 at half time.

Matthew Tierney and Darren McHale with the goals for either side.

Kerry strolled to their third consecutive victory over Clare in the Munster final today.

David Clifford hit 2-5 in a 4-20 to 21 point win over the Banner in Killarney.

Dublin will take on Meath in the Leinster ladies football final.

The Royals have beaten Kildare by 2-14 to 1-16 in their semi final at Cedral St Conleth’s Park.

Elsewhere there were wins for Kerry and Cork over Waterford and Tipperary in the Munster ladies football championship today.

Soccer

In the Premier League, Brentford have come out on top against Manchester United.

The score there finished up 4-3. An own goal from Luke Shaw, two goals from Kevin Schade, and a goal from Yoane Wissa are to thank for Brentford's win.

Mason Mount put United ahead in the 14th minute, but their lead was shortlived when Shaw's own goal was scored in the 27th minute.

However, they managed to pull back two goals back later on. Alejandro Garnacho scored in the 82nd minute and Amad Diallo scored after 90+5.

Elsewhere, it ended in a draw between Brighton and Newcastle. A goal from Yankuba Minteh in the 28th minute carried Brighton until minutes before the full-time whistle, when Alexander Isak converted a penalty for the Magpies.

It ended all square between West Ham and Spurs. Spurs went ahead in the 15th minute thanks to a goal from Wilson Odobert, but West Ham pulled one back through Jarrod Bowen in the 28th minute.

Later on, Chelsea will welcome Premier League champions Liverpool to Stamford Bridge with a guard of honour.

Kick off in their game against Arne Slot's side is at 4:30pm.

Rugby

The second of this year's Investec Champions Cup semi-finals takes place on Sunday afternoon.

It's an all French affair as Bordeaux Begles host Toulouse from 3pm. The score there is Bordeaux Begles - 18, Toulouse - 11 at half time.

The winner will play Northampton in the final in Cardiff on May 24th after they beat Leinster on Saturday.
