Offaly girls to line out in Croke Park during Dublin-Cork hurling semi final

Two Offaly girls will get a chance to play camogie in front of an expected capacity crowd in Croke Park during the All Ireland hurling semi final between Dublin and Cork this weekend.

Amy, from Ballinamere NS, and Kirsty, from Coolderry NS, are set to feature in the INTO Cumann na mBunscol half-time game on Saturday.

It's sure to be a memorable day out for the local duo, who were selected for the game after they came first and second, respectively, in the annual Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Uíbh Fhailí Camogie Skills Competition last year.

Offaly Cumann Na mBunscol posted a message of support for the two girls on social media today, wishing them the very best of luck.

The meeting of Dublin and Cork gets underway at 5pm on Saturday.
