Shamrock Rovers' wait to secure the League of Ireland title continues after a 1-0 defeat to St Patrick's Athletic.
A goal from Simon Power in the 37th minute gave Stephen Kenny's side a vital win in their hopes for European football, while Stephen Bradley's side has given up another chance to win the title.
Derry City also played their part in ensuring the title race goes on with a 2-1 win away to Waterford.
Tom Lonergan gave the home side the lead before goals from Gavin Whyte and Michael Duffy turned the game around for Derry.
At the other end of the table, Galway United secured a crucial 2-0 win over Bohemians to move above Waterford and out of the relegation play-offs on goal difference.

They went above Sligo Rovers on goal difference, who lost 3-1 with last season's champions Shelbourne.
Sligo Rovers took the lead through Cian Kavanagh in the 20th minute, before Shelbourne levelled the game through Ademipo Odubeko 10 minutes later.
