Two teenagers injured after car mounts footpath in Co Dublin

Two teenagers have been injured after a car hit them in Foxrock, Dublin 18, on Friday night.

At approximately 7:30 pm, gardaí and emergency services responded to reports of a car mounting the footpath and colliding with a lamp-post and bin, resulting in injuries to two pedestrians on the N11 at Foxrock.

The injured pedestrians, two males in their mid-teens, were taken to the hospital.

One remains in CHI Crumlin receiving treatment for serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver, a man in his 20s, was also transported to the hospital for medical assessment.

The scene was examined, and the road has since been fully reopened to traffic.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.

Road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the N11 at Foxrock around the time of the incident are asked to make it available to investigating gardaí.
