Tullamore Musical Society to host annual Table Quiz

With preparations underway for their annual table quiz, members of Tullamore Musical Society are celebrating the news that their 2026 production of the iconic rock musical 'We Will Rock You' has completely sold out its six-night run.

The classic jukebox musical based on the songs of one of the greatest rock bands of all time, the legendary Queen, and with a book by Ben Elton, will open in the Esker Arts Centre in Tullamore on Sunday, February 15 next, and continue until Friday, February 20, with tickets for all performances sold out for the past week. Doors open at 7pm with performances getting underway at 7.30pm sharp.

Two Gala Performances for sponsors and patrons of Tullamore Musical Society will book end the six night run, taking place on Saturday, February 14 and again on Saturday, February 21.

The Director of the 2026 production of 'We Will Rock You' is musical society stalwart and Mullingar native, Chris Corroon, who is no stranger to audiences across the Midlands and beyond, while Laura Douglas is the choreographer. Once again, Enda O'Connor is the musical director of the high-octane rock musical.

Meanwhile, Tullamore Musical Society will host its annual Table Quiz in Maunsell's pub on Friday, January 30 next at 8pm. Tables of four cost €40, and the society is urging everyone to come along to what promises to be a music and fun-filled evening of entertainment. All monies raised will be used to fund the upcoming production of 'We Will Rock You.'
