Colaiste Naomh Cormac wins 'Best School' award

Staff and students at Kilcormac secondary school, Colaiste Naomh Cormac, are in celebratory mood after they scooped the 'Best School' award at the Tullamore Credit Union Face the Phoenix competition earlier today (Wednesday).

This is the credit union’s version of the popular TV show Dragon’s Den.

The school had two reasons to celebrate after today's event in Esker Arts Centre in Tullamore as students, Stephen Newton and Jack Feighery from the SJ Lights team took first prize for their school at the prestigious competition.

Great credit is also due to two enterprising companies from Colaiste Naomh Cormac, Vita Vo Vita Vo (Vytaute Volcauskaite) and Boot Buddy (Tiernan Barron Coady Kenny, and Daniel Rigney) for showcasing their brilliant innovation and creativity at Face the Phoenix.
