Employment drop-in support sessions planned for Offaly

Offaly Local Development Company (OLDC) has organised three drop-in employment support sessions across the county over the coming days to provide unemployed people with assistance and guidance on upskilling or finding a job.

Details of the three sessions are as follows:

* Wednesday, February 11, in Birr Library from 11am to 12.30pm

* Thursday, February 12, in Kilcormac Library from 11am to 12.30pm

* Tuesday, February 17, in Ferbane Library from 2.30pm to 4pm

An employment support worker from OLDC will be on hand in each of the three venues to answer questions and to provide a number of handy resources to help participants on their journey to finding employment. Support will be provided with CV/Cover letters; job application feedback, training opportunities and employment schemes.

No appointment is needed, so unemployed people are invited to just pop in for a chat as they take their first step back into further training or employment.
