Offaly TD Tony McCormack recently attended the launch of CAC's Connecting Artists & Collective Impact Report at the organisation’s newly refurbished creative hub in Dublin.

The report highlights the impact of CAC’s national Connecting Artists Programme over the past five years, supporting artists with intellectual disabilities and neurodivergent artists to develop professional creative careers, exhibit nationally, and gain greater visibility within Ireland’s arts sector.

Since 2022, the programme has supported 40 artists and facilitated mentoring, workshops, art sales, and national exhibitions at the Royal Hibernian Academy (RHA) and Royal College of Surgeons Ireland (RCSI).

CAC is calling for greater inclusion, visibility, funding, and support for artists with intellectual disabilities and neurodivergent artists in the arts sector. The organisation also launched The CAC Community membership initiative to help grow the programme nationally.
