Offaly name unchanged team for Tailteann Cup semi-final
Offaly senior football team joint managers Declan Kelly and Mickey Harte have named an unchanged team for the county's Tailteann Cup semi-final game against Wicklow in Croke Park on Saturday, at 5pm.
The management duo have keep their faith in the same players who saw off the challenge of Wexford in the quarter-final of the competition in Glenisk O'Connor Park Tullamore on Saturday last.
Offaly secured their place in the final four of the Tailteann Cup following a five point win over their Leinster opposition in Glenisk O'Connor Park Tullamore.
Four Faithful County players were recognised for their individual displays in the collective performance which saw Offaly come from behind to win the quarter-final clash by five points.
Defenders Shane O'Toole Greene and Lee Pearson, as well as centrefield player Jack McEvoy and forward Jack Bryant were chosen on the GAA 'Team of the Week', reflecting their contributions to the county's win.
Offaly last reached the Tailteann Cup semi-final in 2022 when they were defeated by eventual winners Westmeath.
In the second semi-final, Fermanagh will play Down in the opening fixture at GAA HQ on Saturday, the game due to throw-in at 3pm.
