Local donors urged to give blood donation next week

The Irish Blood Transfusion Service will visit Mucklagh Community Centre for four days next week and are urging local people in Tullamore and the surrounding areas to please consider making a donation.

Mucklagh Community Centre has advised members that their sports hall will facilitate blood donations from Monday next, July 20 to Thursday, July 23.

The hours of operation of the service are from 3.45pm to 8pm each day, and prospective donors are asked to note that this is an appointment based clinic.

Prospective donors are asked to check their donation eligibility and book their appointment on giveblood.ie or by calling 1800 222 111.
