New bicycle repair station is installed in Edenderry

A new bicycle repair station has been installed at O'Connell Square in Edenderry.

The Edenderry Tidy Towns committee has said it is 'delighted' to have installed the station in the town, and that it is now ready to use.

The station, said the committee, includes the basic bicycle repair kit tools and a pump, in case anyone needs same during journeys.

The Tidy Towns committee thanked everyone who supported the project and helped make it happen.

'We hope it's a useful addition for both locals and visitors and encourages even more people to get out on their bikes,' it said.

The committee also called on people to 'help us look after this new community facility by treating it with respect, so everyone can enjoy it for years to come'.
