Offaly Climate and Biodiversity Action Group (OCBAG) are inviting nature and ecology enthusiasts and experts to participate in a networking for nature event.
Titled ‘Biodiversity and a Brew’ the event will be held at Tom's Artisan Cafe on Main Street, Tullamore on Wednesday, September 9, 7pm.
The inclusive and relaxed meeting is seeking to engage and collaborate with both enthusiasts and experts on nature, biodiversity, and environment. The gathering is intended to have wide-ranging conversations around helping nature locally. All ideas and inputs are welcome to be discussed over a cup of tea or coffee.
Amongst the topics being discussed will be ongoing OCBAG conservation projects. There will also be members of other groups such as Tullamore Community Garden and the local Cherry Laurel Action Group in attendance where one can learn about these groups and also how to make a difference and get involved.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Joe Stewart said: “With the recent launch of the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan 2026-2030, it is a great time to come together to share ideas and find out how we can contribute individually as well as collaborating and working together to support local biodiversity.”
The OCBAG welcomes the interested people to attend the event. For more details contact via email on offalyclimateandbio@outlook.com or see their public Facebook page.
