Contemporary dance performance at Esker Arts

Culture Night Offaly, which takes place on Friday, September 18, in towns and villages across the county, has presented a vibrant programme of free events, for all ages, ahead of the event.

Esker Arts Tullamore will stage Donlon Dance Company's 'Night at the Museum', on Friday, September 18, at 6pm, in reflection of the annual feast of arts and culture.

Bearing similarities to the film of the same name, this urban contemporary dance piece imagines the hidden world that comes to life after dark.

As the museum falls silent and the lights go out, the dancers awaken to tell stories through powerful movement, creativity, and imagination.

Blending dynamic urban styles with expressive contemporary dance, this performance explores the mystery, wonder, and excitement of what might happen when the exhibits and the people within them come alive at night.

Tickets for this event is free, but booking is essential.
