Tullamore Credit Union announces student bursary winners

Tullamore Credit Union has announced the five winners of its first Student Bursary.

The winners are Killian Dempsey, Francis Adebowale, Ross McLoughlin, Alison Murray and Moya Guinan.

The bursary was launched earlier this year to support local students as they begin the next step in their education. A total of €5,000 was available, with five students each receiving €1,000 towards their education costs.

Following the closing date for applications in early September, the draw has now taken place, and the five successful applicants have been contacted.

The winners claimed their prizes on Saturday in Tullamore Credit Union’s Patrick Street Office. The Credit Union congratulated all five winners and issued a sincere thank you to everyone who took the time to apply. It said it was proud to support young members in the local community and wished all applicants the very best as they begin their next chapter in education.
