Hullabaloo! tickets ready for sale as arts festival celebrates 20 years

Offaly’s children’s arts festival, Hullabaloo!, will mark its 20th anniversary this mid-term break with four days of creativity, imagination and family fun across the county.

Running from Wednesday, October 28, to Saturday, October 31, the festival brings more than 90 workshops, performances and family events to Birr, Clara, Edenderry, Tullamore, and Kilcormac.

Founded at Birr Theatre & Arts Centre, Hullabaloo! has grown from a local event into a county-wide celebration that continues to give children under 12 the chance to explore and create through the arts. From painting, drama and dance to storytelling, puppetry and traditional music, there’s something for every young imagination.

Through social media, organisers said that its brand-new programme of events will be distributed in Offaly schools from today (Wednesday).

Organisers said that this year’s festival promises to be 'bigger and better than ever', with over 100 workshops, shows, movies and activities spread across four days.

Supported by Offaly County Council Arts Office, tickets for Hullabaloo!, Offaly’s Children’s Arts Festival, will go on sale tomorrow (Thursday, October 1) from 9.30am.
