Killeigh founder shares entrepreneurial journey with University of Galway students

Killeigh native Anthony Gorman, the founder of Anthony’s Wooden Crafts, has shared his entrepreneurial journey with Master’s in AgInnovation students at the University of Galway.

The students are currently completing a case study on the Irish craft business, which was founded by Anthony in 2019 as part of a TY Student Enterprise project.

"It’s a real privilege to be in a position where I can share my journey with students at one of Ireland’s leading universities," Anthony said.

"When I started this business at just 15 years of age, I never imagined I’d be standing in front of a college class sharing my story and experiences!"

Anthony offered the students a sneak peak at a new product he has been designing for Christmas 2026.

"I can’t wait to show you all the work that myself and the team have been putting in behind the scenes during the off-season. I’m incredibly excited about what’s coming next," he added.

He extended thanks to Martina O’Grady of the University of Galway for the opportunity.
