Four Offaly artists to showcase at Esker Arts
Four local artists are set to showcase their work at an upcoming exhibition at Esker Arts, Tullamore.
The showcase is described by Esker Arts as “an exploration of light, resilience, wildlife and nature”.
Olive Cuskelly, an artist based near Daingean, showcases her artistry largely through the vibrant medium of soft pastel. Her creations capture the interplay of light and colour with delicate layering, emphasising the significance and beauty of nature and the emotional connections with it. She invites viewers to experience a real sense of belonging through her work.
Paula Finlay, hailing from Tullamore, shares her serene land, city and seascape studies, while Ann Mitchell delves into the realms of memory and resilience through her contemporary figurative works.
Regina Bracken, a wildlife and portrait artist, focuses on the importance of wild spaces through her biro and oil creations.
The exhibition is due to begin at Esker Arts on Saturday, November 14.
