Tullamore's Luke makes academic history at DCU

Tullamore's Luke Condron has made academic history by becoming the first student from the BRE (Bachelor of Religious Education) programme to receive the prestigious Killeen Medal at Dublin City University (DCU).

Luke, a former pupil at Coláiste Choilm, received the award at a ceremony at the college for being the best student in English Literature.

Coláiste Choilm said it is immensely proud of Luke and offered “huge congratulations” on the achievement.

The Bachelor of Religious Education (BRE) at Dublin City University (DCU) is a four-year, Level 8 concurrent undergraduate degree that provides a direct pathway to becoming a post-primary teacher in Ireland.
