Funeral details announced for victim of Edenderry attack

Mary Holt, who was killed in last weekend's arson attack in Edenderry, will be laid to rest this Sunday afternoon following a funeral Mass at St Mary's Church in the town.

Her funeral will take place two days after St Mary's hosts the funeral of four-year-old Tadgh Devery, who was also killed in an incident which shocked and appalled the nation. Tadhg Devery's funeral Mass will take place at 12 noon tomorrow (Friday).

Mary Holt's funeral cortege will stop at her long-time workplace, Ofalia House, as a mark of respect prior to Sunday's Mass.

She will be reposing at Larkin's Funeral Home, Edenderry (R45 VK24) this Saturday from 4pm to 7pm.

The following day, the funeral cortege will depart from Larkin's Funeral Home at 12.20pm and travel via JKL Street and the School Lane, stopping at her beloved Ofalia House and then on to St Mary's Church for funeral Mass at 1pm.

Mass will be followed by burial in St Mary's cemetery.

Mary will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her loving family: brothers and sisters Michael, Johnny, Margaret, Christy, Declan, Pauline and Brendan, their husbands, wives and partners, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, friends and especially her work colleagues in Ofalia House, Edenderry.

May she rest in peace.
