Searches at residences as part of Edenderry fire investigation

Gardai are carrying out three searches at residences in Kildare and Offaly this morning as part of their investigation into the fatal house fire in Edenderry on Saturday.

This morning, Friday, investigating Gardaí from the Serious Crime Unit, Laois/Offaly Garda Division are carrying out three searches at domestic residences in Co. Kildare and Co. Offaly.

The Garda Investigation team was supported by National Units including Special Tactics & Operations Command (STOC), Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation (GNBCI) and units from Laois/Offaly Garda Division and Kildare/Carlow Garda Division.

Gardai are continuing to appeal to anyone with any information on this violent fatal incident to speak with investigating Gardaí.
