Offaly's Claire Guinan selected as "Artist in Focus" for this year's Tullamore Show

Offaly's Claire Guinan has been selected as the "Artist in Focus" for this year's Tullamore Show.

The Ballydaly natives work will be displayed at the Art & Photography Tent at the Tullamore Show on Sunday, August 9.

The exhibit will focus on works inspired by music, poetry, and memories.

As part of her wider body of work as an artist, Claire Guinan has painted a collection of portraits of such musical luminaries as Phil Lynott; Christy Dignam; Imelda May; Gavin James; John Sheehan and Tullamore - born musician, Donal Lunny.
