Oprah Winfrey announces Dublin show

World-famous talk show host Oprah Winfrey has announced a show in Dublin's 3Arena as part of the Pendulum Summit.

Up Close With Oprah Winfrey will take place at the venue on Monday, September 14th.

Tickets will start at €25, with 'premium VIP experiences' going for up to €695.

David Meade will host the event, which is described as "the chance to experience an intimate conversation with Oprah".

A musical performance from Niall Breslin will take place before Oprah's appearance. Doors will open at 6.30pm.

Norma Murphy, co-founder and creative director of Up Close With, said: "Oprah has been an inspirational compass for me my whole life. As a child, I was mesmerised by her warmth, empathy, and energy on The Oprah Winfrey Show. In more recent years, her conversations through ‘The Oprah Podcast’ have continued to show that same depth and reflection."

Murphy added: "She treats vulnerability as strength, self-awareness as power, and has always believed that true success lies in lifting others. I am so grateful that she has chosen Up Close With for her first live appearance and that we get to bring her to Dublin."
