Tullamore firm wins top prize at Offaly Enterprise Awards

Tullamore-based photo technology company Photo Experience Ltd has been announced as the overall winner of the Offaly Enterprise Award for 2026.

The company, based at Axis Business Park, will now represent Offaly at the National Enterprise Awards in Dublin next month.

In addition, Photo Experience Ltd received a cash prize of €2,500.

In a statement about the winning company, Offaly County Council said: "In 2020, both Dean Kelly and his partner Ella Hough formed Photo Experience Ltd, drawing on first-hand experience of high-volume guest photography in the cruise industry.

"Photo Experience designs and installs technology-driven photography systems for theme parks, water parks, zoos, museums and other visitor attractions.

"The company combines proprietary hardware, software and operational know-how to capture guest experiences and convert those moments into printed and digital photo products.

"While the output is photography, the business is primarily a technology platform that manages the full image lifecycle, from capture and image association through to retrieval, purchase and delivery."

In addition to its Irish office in Offaly, Photo Experience Ltd has a UK office in Dorset, England.

Orla Martin, Head of Enterprise with Local Enterprise Office Offaly said: "Photo Experience Ltd is a success story and we are particularly impressed by the export potential for this business. Offaly is proud to be represented by Photo Experience Ltd at the National Enterprise Awards."

The National Enterprise Awards will take place on June 18 in The Mansion House, Dublin.
