Killeigh pupils celebrate annual book collaboration project

Sixth-class pupils at Scoil Shinchill Killeigh have once again taken part in the school’s annual collaborative book project with junior infants, culminating in the presentation of finished books this week.

Each year, older pupils work alongside the youngest students to create and illustrate a book together, fostering literacy skills, creativity, and cross-class collaboration.

This year’s completed works were formally presented by the sixth-class students to their junior infant partners.

The school said that the junior infant pupils responded with enthusiasm and excitement as they received the books.

"Our young junior infants were thrilled with the results," a post by the school read.
