Man taken to hospital after Offaly crash involving van and car
Gardai said a man in his 30s was taken to Tullamore hospital following a collision between a van and a car on the N52 between Tullamore and Kilbeggan yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon.
The incident happened shortly after 1.05pm on the N52 at Ballybought, Durrow.
Gardai attended the scene and said a man in his 30s was taken to the Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore for medical assessment following the collision.
The collision resulted in significant traffic tailbacks in the area yesterday afternoon, but the road has since reopened.
