A viral video by Esker Rí Nursing Home in Offaly has racked up over 228,000 views on Faceboook.

The video features residents of the nursing home, as they share their previous occupation.

The 32-second clip shows residents revealing roles from nurse to Bord Na Mona worker, to construction supervisor and photographer.

Sharing its gratitude for the love on the video, Esker Rí Nursing Home called the viral clip "an incredible milestone".

"To see it reach over 282,000 views is an incredible milestone, and we want you to know that we see it, we appreciate it, and we certainly don’t take it for granted.
