Electric Picnic: Action gets underway under cloudy skies
The action gets underway on the main stage at Electric Picnic this afternoon.
Jade opens proceedings at 6pm in Stradbally, followed by Zara Larsson, Sombr and Lewis Capaldi.
It's estimated that 80,000 people are attending the Co Laois festival, where weather conditions have been mixed with dry and sunny spells this afternoon before showers arrived this evening.
Early entry access to the site began at 2pm yesterday afternoon, and many of those who camped last night experienced extremely heavy rainfalls.
Meanwhile a number of samples have already been submitted to the HSE drug surrender bins at Electric Picnic.
Four bins are located on site at the festival in Co Laois as part of the HSE harm reduction initiative.
Drugs submitted are quickly tested in an on-site lab to identify any new or dangerous substances.
Warnings are then posted on the Electric Picnic app and on screens on site.
Anyone making their way to Stradbally by car is advised not to use map apps or Sat-Nav and to follow signage on the route and the directions of gardaí.
