Former Republic of Ireland captains Séamus Coleman and John Egan have been recalled for October's World Cup qualifiers.

Midfielder Jason Molumby has also been recalled, as  Heimir Hallgrímsson has brought back plenty of experience to the squad.

Injuries to Matt Doherty, Bosun Lawal and Jason Knight see them miss out, while Robbie Brady remains out with a calf injury.

Will Smallbone, Callum O'Dowda, and Festy Ebosele have been recalled after missing out in September, but there is no place for Jimmy Dunne or Killian Phillips.

Despite a knee injury, Troy Parrott has been named in the squad, with the hope he will play for AZ Alkmaar this weekend.
