Man dies in Ballyfore stabbing


A man in his 50s has died following a stabbing incident in Ballyfore.
Gardai were called to a house on Green Road, Ballyfore at 7.48pm on Sunday night following reports of a man with serious stab wounds. 
Despite the efforts of the medical personnel the man in his 50s was later pronounced dead at the scene.
A juvenile male was arrested in relation to the incident and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Tullamore Garda Station. 
The house was sealed off last night pending the arrival of the State Pathologist and the Garda Technical Bureau who are carrying out a forensic examination of the area. 
An incident room has been set up at Tullamore Garda Station.
