The deadline has been extended for nominations to the region's main business awards.
The MidlandsIreland.ie Best in Business Awards, which are open to businesses throughout Westmeath, Offaly, Longford and Laois will now remain open for nominations until Friday, May 31
This year’s awards presentation will take place in The Tullamore Court Hotel on Friday, June 28. President of the Midlands Gateway Chamber, John Humphries is encouraging nominations from throughout the Midlands.
The awards categories are: Emerging New Business Award; Best Multi-National Award; Business Person of the Year; Outstanding Business Award; Best Cultural Tourism Award; Green Initiative Award and Retail Excellence Award.
Also being presented on the night will be Awards for Lifetime Achievement (Tullamore) and the Midlands Gateway Chamber Ambassador Award.
