Show Us Your Talent in Tullamore
“Show Us Your Talent” is a unique talent show aimed at secondary school students, and it’s scheduled for the Tullamore Court Hotel on Sunday, November 17 next.
The contest boasts a judging panel of George McMahon (Fair City’s Mondo), Richie Hayes from The Voice of Ireland and RTE presenter Diana Bunici. It’s run very like X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, but there’s also a chance for audience votes to change the fate of participants.
Dozens of students auditioned to be part of next Sunday’s show, but only 15 of the best will take to the stage on the day.
Students selected for the show include some from Tullamore’s Sacred Heart School, Tullamore College, Colaiste Choilm, Moate Community School, Gallen Community School in Ferbane, CBS Portlaoise, Mercy Secondary School in Kilbeggan and St Aloysius in Athlone.
Fifty per cent of votes will come from judges, while the remainder to decide who gets the €1,000 prize fund will come from the audience.
Tickets for the November 17 show are €10, with all proceeds going to Tullamore Community Arts Centre.
